They turn hostile if their beliefs are challenged. There are people that want to contribute to society and there are those that want to exploit the system. Bias, man. Wouldn't New Yorkers be more likely to find a defendant guilty for a crime on THEIR hometown? Then the possibility of mistrial by jury bias/tampering arises.
