The stimulus website is working very well - what did you expect unprecedented transparency would find? They need to get the data right, but actually releasing all the data to the public for review was the right thing to do. When a fire alarm goes off because the house is burning down, the fire alarm is *working*. This accountability enforced by the people is indeed a radical change from how our government works traditionally and very welcome. I hope the ranting doesn't kill the messenger such that this level of data transparency is never done again.
I agree that most people eat the wrong foods, but I know some obese people who just eat too much period. Right or wrong food. It never seems to stop going in....*

“What does this matter? I think it's safe to say any water on the moon functions similarly to fossil water on earth meaning, it is a non renewable resource.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fossil_water

There's probably nothing wrong with eating cloned animals, but using only one or two of the same animal over and over is putting all your eggs in one basket. It's like the Irish potato famine - with no genetic diversity, if a disease comes along that one of the animals is sensitive to, then they're all sensitive to it, and you lose your entire source of food in one fell swoop..

Why not? It's a perfectly cromulent word.?
@candorny"For prices to change, there need only be a shift in ONE of the two parts."DUDE. Actually, for prices to change all the CEO has to do is make a phone call, DUDE. They can do whatever they want with the prices, DUDE. The market will react, DUDE. And the market is going to react negatively when they are increasing prices with no reason other than greed, DUDE. Because we all know that money isn't going to the artists, DUDE.In case you haven't noticed, more and more markets are becoming digital. Music was one of the first to go - dragging the RIAA along with it, kicking and screaming. They are trying to assimilate themselves now, but they just don't get it, still. They are still trying to treat digital music like a PHYSICAL commodity. It is not, obviously. Digital commodities do not adhere to the same rules as other commodities effected by supply and demand, like oil. But the RIAA would have you believe so. So tell me, what is warranting this price increase, DUDE?Ask your economics teacher. Or your mom. They might be able to put it in terms you can comprehend. DUDE. |

It would be nice if nasa's budget were large enough for it to deserve being called a cash sink hole. I think they would produce more valuable research and innovations than most of the stuff that the government spends money on.

Anyone posting that comment at this stage is just trolling... like the comment above about "races" when OoS doesn't cover human evolution. Who knows why they bother?

I always wish I could work with one of these. I don't know if I could use 37k chips, but I probably could find a way.I wonder if this machine ever sleeps? It was pretty loud in there, I'm guessing that all the CPU's are being used all the time. And just as an observation; seems weird to cool the chips in that manner with such a flat plenum in each row, 4 per plenum. You'd think that the heat dissipation from the first chip would affect the efficiency of the last chip's cooling. |
