Well here is the thing.... if nothing gets passed and things keep going the way they are going do you expect them to get better or even stay the same? We are not in a stable situation you can't use the whole "if it ain't broken don't fix it strategy" when the system is getting closer and closer to collapsing. That's absolute *****. The iPhone single handedly killed WAP browsers on phones, gave us visual voicemail, centralized App Stores, and incorporated a bunch of other stuff, like Multi-touch and the accelerometer, technology that while not new, had never been seen on a phone before. The iPhone also made large flash storage and large screens, the new standard for smartphones. If that doesn't make the iPhone iconic, what the ***** does a company have to do to be considered iconic?And I'm tired of hearing about this "open" ***** and Microsoft. Most people don't like Microsoft because they make crappy software. Period. No one cares about Microsoft being "open," except in those instances where you can't avoid their software, like at work (Word, Excel, etc). Yup, if you look at Adobe's Flash support page, for the current Flash Player 10.0 it mentions hardware acceleration support and that it would depend on the GPU used:http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/systemre ...However, previous it was a lot more limited to what is now available with the new Flash Player 10.1 beta. I don't think previous that Flash was using the GPUs' H.264 video decoder available modern GPUs, which it is now thanks to Adobe teaming up with companies like NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and Broadcom.?
